Serving at Sugar Hill
Serving at SHUMC has never been easier. Serving can be intimidating if you have never done so in the past. Martha Peribonio, our Director of Serve Ministries, is available to help walk you through the process and find the right opportunity to start serving today.
TOP 3 SERVE NEEDS
Sugar Hill UMC loves its members serving internally at our church but it is equally important that they serve in our community and abroad. We have opportunities for you to shine the light of Christ in many different ways. No matter what your background or talents, there is always a place for you to serve at SHUMC.
“As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another,
as good stewards of God’s varied grace.”

Weekend Food Program
Prepare, pack, deliver lunches to neighboring communities every weekend to families facing hunger.
Each week our parking team helps usher in our existing and new congregants and help them make their way into our services.
Children's Ministry (Preschool)
Preschool Children’s Ministry is in need of some “runners” who will help a few minutes before service and a few minutes at the end of service to help walk children to/from check in/check out areas to their small group rooms.
